Emerging technologies are capable of changing the way we do business and providing new experiences in our leisure time. An organization based in Finland called Finpeda, have developed a virtual environment. It uses meshmoon technology and is only compatible with google chrome. Also, logging in with a google account is necessary for full functionality, however, Facebook meshmoon accounts will grant some access. In the room, we can move around using the arrow keys on the keyboard. We can send messages and use the webcam for video chat.  Additionally, we can add objects to the room, texts, web links, and google documents including presentations, spreadsheets, and drawings. These documents are shared and can be edited by other users. The next technology appeared in 2015. Virtual reality uses a headset such as the Oculus Rift. Uses park ride simulation. Virtual shopping gives the user the convenience of online shopping but the feeling of being in a mall. Architects and interior designers can use this for business purposes as well. This emerging technology was purchased by Facebook for $2 billion. Trying to visualize how online purchases or home improvement concepts will look in real like is quite difficult. Augmented reality is another technology that can prove very useful in this type of situation. Powered by Tango, googles AR platform, the app can help designers and architects conceptualize projects. Tango users to test floors and appliances. Some stores have begun using this to make the transition simpler. The future looks as if it can become easier yet more exciting with these emerging technologies.
